  • Transparent is available from today on Spotify and other streaming platforms. One of my most heartfelt songs. But what genre is it?
  • Finally I can use my old monster again after so many years! 🤗 I have really missed all the material that is on it and which I have not had access to since the synth needed repair many years ago. Now I have got hold of the diskette that contains the factory data and all the sounds that are so typical of Korg T3. The letter came from the Czech Republic, via eBay. The first attempt with Italy did not work, it was the wrong diskette. Money back and a new attempt. European cooperation across borders.
  • Transparent. Someone once told me that I was. As if someone else can read my mind. I really like this song. The recording itself was also different, it was spontaneous and without too much preparation. It was a bit of an experiment. It came about one night, in the dark. I couldn't get too loud because I might disturb my son who was sleeping in the next room. So I almost whisper it. Weakness and vulnerability again. Themes that keep recurring. It's probably my most genuinely authentic song. Who is "you" in the song? God? A human being? That's up to you to figure out.   • When my youngest son was at the depths of his depression, this song came to me. He had a lot of darkness inside him, he had given up, but I knew there was something beautiful in there too. That's what Soul Garden is about. I've remixed it recently, although it was written and recorded in 2013. https://soundcloud.com/ingelaberger/soul-garden

  • Yes, I think this would work for film & TV. It has a beautiful, evocative atmospheric sound a la Bon Iver’s ”Holocene” and some of Jonsi’s solo tracks. (Both very popular with music supervisors.) The title is right on target for this use, a pure emotional statement and the song supports that. Really good work, Ingela. Good luck with this!
